Yea I know long time since I got up off my arse and posted. Even today the only reason I am doing it is to shamesly 'advertise' a website. Over the last couple of months I have been following Dave Cornthwaite's journey across Australia, He has been Skateboarding across the country and raising money for 3 charities.
Today when I was walking along the road, I was rather surprised to see a vehicle with Boardfree all over it, I did know that Dave would be in the area either today or tomorrow, but I wasnt expecting to literally see the crew as I was walking down the road on my way to drop some Christmas cards off. They stopped and had a bit of a chat and I gave them my phone no so they could call round later (eldest daughter wanted a t-shirt). Dave and Dan called round and had a drink while sorting out their internet access. Have to say really great guys! Charl was very shy as always, but we went back to where they where staying to purchase a couple of t-shirt and make a donation. Charl got to touch his skateboard and was so impressed. She was so nervous, and got me to ask him for his autograph.
The rest of the crew are great people too, I totally recommend a look at the site, and DONATE!
