I go back to work on the 24th November.
To be honest I have put off thinking about it and hadn't bothered about childcare, I think subconciously I thought If I cant get any I cant go back to work. Unfortunatly/fortunatly for me a new place had opened and had vacancies.
I went to see it on Wednesday and was really impressed, its a great place and is basically purpose built so I paid a deposit and went into work to see about going back. I was hoping to perhaps go part-time, but figured I would have to see what they said.
I arrived and the General Manager saw me and said 'What a coincidence I was going to ring you...'
He said he wanted to speak to me about returning to work (how odd!)basically to cut a long story short they wanted me to return ASAP, I can work flexi hours (I have arranged to go into the office 2 days a week)I can work from home, and I am now the Executive Assistant, so I have had a promotion!! I was stunned, but what a great surprise eh?
